Yesterday it was announced that the second autopsy report of Arturo Gatti, conducted by Canadian Authorities, have discovered Amanda Rodrigues INNOCENT of all charges held against her.

Arturo Gatti’s body has been exhumed by Forensic Pathologists in Canada for a closer look, and their results should be in in a few weeks from now. Family and friends do not believe that Mr. Gatti either was or is capable of killing himself, nor wanted to.
Former boxing champ Otis Grant was quoted as saying that he doesn’t have faith in the Brazilian authority’s investigation, nor does he- or, in his own words- the boxing community believe, that Gatti committed suicide.
I guess we’ll just have to wait on the results…

In which interview, Amanda Rodrigues was quoted as saying, “I was the only wife of Arturo and I want my good name back. Not only just for me, but out of respect for my husband and my son.”

What do we know at this point?
we know that the police have detained Gatti’s wife, Amanda Rodrigues, for providing- by brazilian police’s standards, questionable or contradictory stories relating to what happened Regarding her knowledge, or non-knowledge about the death of her husband Arturo Gatti.
It was rumoured, (and this is only rumour at this point), that they were experiencing trouble with their relationship and were contemplating divorce.
Before anyone jumps to conclusions, let’s wait it out. And not cast judgement on anyone. Especially the wife of Mr. Gatti himself, who is now widowed.
They have a tenth month old child together, and let’s ask the media to remain sympathetic to the family- or as sympathetic as they are capable of being in a time where there is nothing more profitable to anyone than exploiting people and the sufferings of others for personal gain.
Let’s wish for a fair trial, and fair treatment for Amanda Rodrigues. A peaceful conclusion to the Gatti family’s suffering, and- if necessary at some later point- an innocent verdict for Mrs. Arturo Gatti herself, Amanda Rodrigues
